If you’ve followed this blog long enough you’ll know that I have some issues with neoprene. Namely the fact that it’s just EVERYWHERE, it’s overexposed, and just isn’t a particularly nice looking material. Well, I’m giving the people at Built a half-pass on this one, because their upcoming sleeve IS in fact neoprene, but they managed to make it interesting. It’s constructed in a unique hourglass shape that stands out a bit, which also claims to better secure the iPad in place, however they haven’t yet posted pictures of the inside, so I’m not sure how that’s achieved. One nice feature is that this sleeve is TSA checkpoint friendly, those magic words heavy travellers always look for.
This case isn’t out yet, but Amazon is taking pre-orders on Red and Black versions.
